Sun Lakes Friends of the Library

 
The Sun Lakes Friends of the Library has been part of our community since 1991 when the Maricopa County Library District opened its first Sun Lakes branch.

The goal of friends is to support the library and contribute to its continuing success. It also seeks to promote special programs that will enrich community life.

The Bookstore, located in the southwest corner of the library, is maintained exclusively by the members of Friends. Gently used books, magazines and videos are available for purchase for very reasonable prices.

In addition to many on-going library purchases, the Friends recently voted to purchase and install the automatic handicap accessible door, a welcome addition.

Proceeds from the Bookstore are used to sponsor a variety of programs throughout the year.
